OAMARU.

[BPBOIAt.] June 19. Mrs Ann Hester Eade died suddenly at Waimato yesterday afternoon. Death was caused by the bursting of a blood vessel. The body of a man was found floating in the harbour this morning by some of the men employed on the wharf, and by them broaght ashore. From the appearance of the body, which was disfigured beyond recognition, it had evidently been in the water for some time. . The only clue to the unfortunate man's name was found in some papers in the pockets of his clothes, which are receipts for certain sums of money from John M'Gregor, a largo sum of money was on the body, and also some deposit receipts for nearly £500 from the Union Bank, Cromwell. It is supposed that he had been a shepherd at Clyde, and was going to the steamer late at night when he fell off the wharf. A flask of whiskey was found in one pooket. An inquest will be held to-day.
