Afkil 16,
/ Tho Commissioners of school reserves, at their meeting yesterday, decided to apportion the sum of £1780 in hand as the rental ■of the reserves for secondary education for the period ending Dec. 31 last as follows : — Dunedin Higli Schools, £1415 ; Invercargill High School, £365. It was resolved to givo notice to all leasees of reserves in arrear wifch rents that payment would be required within ono month, and if not made, legal proceedings would be takon. The amount due on rents in arrear was stated to be over £1000. Tho reßt of the business was of a routine character.
