The twelfth anniversary of tho above school took place on Sunday last, when Bpecial sermons wore preached by the Eev. Thos. Harrington, of Wellington, to good congregations. The annual tea meeting was also held last evening, when about 150 sat down to a good tea, providod by the ladies of tho congregation. The report, which was of a very pleasing character, showed the number of scholars to bo 135,. with an average attendance of 110. The increase during tho past year was 40. There are nino tqachera, and a library of 228 vols. There is also a Band of Hope in connection with the school numbering 120 members. The question of building new Bohool rooms was referred to by several speakers, and the friends will bo glad to receive help for this object. The meeting was addressed by the Revs. Thos. Harrington, T. W. Smyth, and Meßsrs Ellis, Waters, Binstead, and Allan. The children also assisted by singing and recitations, and the meeting los ed with prayer by the Rev. T. Harrington.
