MR CRESWICK.
Mr Creswick makes his first appearance at the Theatre Royal to-night. " Virginius," by Sheridan Knowles, is the piece chosen for the occasion. Mr Creswick's r-nown should ensure him the support; of tli° public. We may express the hope that the etur will be better aupporled on fchia occasion than the tragedians who have recently visited us were, and the little we saw of Mr Darrell's company during the Rignold season leads us to believe that they ought worthily to perform their duties. The criticisms in Dunedin have been generally favourable, and Mr Creawick appears to have been very successful there.
