DEATH FROM BURNING.
On Thursday, while some ohildren woro lighting gra,sß fires on Big Bush Flat, Kowai Pass, the olothos of a little girl namod Kathorine Brown caught fire. Before tho flames oould bo oxtinguishod, she was severely burned about tho body, and died early on Friday morning. Tho child was about five years of ago. She asked for a drink occasionally while lingering, but showed no sign of suffering. An inquest will be hold to-day.
