Mails for the Southern ports close at 9.30 a.m. on Thursday next, July 1. Mails will close at the chief Post-office on Friday July ~9, for tho undermentioned places : — United Kingdom, via Suez and Marseilles, at 8.3,0 a.m. Continent- of Europe,. Asia, Africa, and America, at 8 a.m. Australian colonies and Northern provinces of New Zealand, at 8.30 a vi. Newspapers at 7 a.m. Late letters for the United Kingdom, tbe Australian colonies, and Northern provinces of New Zealand, can be posted until 9.25 a.m., by the addition of a sixpenny stamp. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 8.
