Mails for the Australian colonies, specially addressed " per Overland route, via Hokitika," will close at Christchurch af 6 p.m., this day. Late letters, hy payment of an extra 6d stamp, may be posted until 10 p.m. Mails for Otago and Southland will close at Christchurch to-morrow, Saturday, April •24, 1869, at 11.15 a.m.
