POSTAL RATES.

On letters, book packets, and newspapers posted in New Zealand, and addressed to places within the colony: — Town Letters. — For delivery at or from the Bame Post Office — Not exceeding half-an-ounce Id Exceeding half-an-ounce but not exceeding one ounce 2d or every additional ounce or fraction et an ounce 2d Countrt Lbttebs. — For delivery at or from any other Post Office within the same province — Not exceeding half- an- ounce 2d Exceeding half-an-ounce but not exceeding one ounce For overy additional ounce or fraction of an ounce 4d Ihtbr-Pbov-NCIAX Lbttbrs. — For delivery at or from any Post Office in any other province -within the Colony — Not exceeding half-an-ounce 3d Exceeding half-an-ounce but not exceeding one ounce ... ... ... 6d For every additional ounce or fraction ©fan ounce ... ... ... ... 6d Book Packets, &c. — For delivery at or from any Post Office within the colony — Not exceeding four ounces 4d Exceeding four ounces, but not exceedBg eight ounces 8d For every additional eight ounces, or fraction of eight ounces ... 8d Newspapers. — For delivery at or from any Post Office within the colony — Each ld Registration Fbb. — For every letter, book packet, banker's parcel pattern parcel, or newspaper, registered at any Post Office within the colony, for delivery at or from any Post Office within tbo colony, a fee ol sixpence will be charged in addition to the postage.
