+ [BY StTBMABINE TELEGHJA.PII.J "Wellington, Oct. 12, 7.3 p.m. At a public meeting to-day, an address was voted to the Bishop of Lichfield, who will not return here as formerly reported, but will proceed to Syduey via Norfolk Island. The balance-sheet of the N.Z.S.N. Company shows a loss of £2949 on last half-year's working account. Mr Clark moves in the House of Eepresentatives to-night, that it ia desirable to ascertain if arrangements can be made with Messrs Vine Hall and Blanc for the speedy determination of the Panama Contract.
