Kaiapoi Land, Building, and Investment Society. — The annual meeting of this. , society takes place to-morrow evening at the Kaiapoi Institute. Notary Pcblic. — By the last Panama Mail, Mr John Dean Bamford received intimation that his Grace the Archbishop of Canterbury had created him " a Public Notary, to the end that he may henceforward, at the city of Christchurch, and also in all Her Majesty's foreign territories, colonies, and dominions, exercise such office of Notary." Mr Bamford took the necessary oaths yesterday before his Honor Mr Justice Gresson.
