FOUR CASES HEARD AT TE PUKE
QUARTERLY SITTING 01 MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Four breaches of the Firearms’ Regulations were - heard before Mr E. L. Walton. S.M.. at the quarterly; sitting, of the Te Puke Magistrate’s Court, last week. Constable G, M. Roberts prosecuted.
Charged with having: a, ,303 calibre rifle in his possession without, first .obtaining a police permit, Albert Clark was lined 10s. Anthony Fielder Fuggle was. fined 10s on each of two .counts, these being that he failed to obtain a police' permit when he procured a .22 calibre rifle from Richard John Willis, and secondly, that he loaned the same firearm to Joseph Kokin who was not entitled to possession by virtue of not having a police permit.
Joseph Kokiri and Richard John Willis were each fined 10s for similar breaches of the regulations.
