STATEMENT’ FOR JANUARY
Estates to the value of £054,400 were reported and accepted for administration by tiie Public Trustee during the month of January, 1947. The total value of estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on the 31st March, 1946, was £07.598,875, and the new business for the ten months ended 31st January was £7,063,046. Grants of administration made bv the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 101 for the month. During the month 513 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 427 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 135,332.
