The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Coy., Ltd., report a large yaiding of dairy cattle and pigs at their Te Puke Sale Held on Tuesday, 18th July. Bidding was keen in all sections with a noticeably improved demand for second quality dairy cattle, and prices generally advanced on late sales. The keen demand for store pigs was reflected in the greatly advanced prices: Quotations Medium far cows . £7 to £B, light and unfinished £4 7s/to £5; heavy boners ..£3 to £3 18s, others £2 • •to £2 12s, poor conditioned to 30s. "good, quality Jersey springing/heifers £3 to £9, smaller good qualit/ £6 Vv to £7 10s, small and backward £4 to £4 10s, best dairy cows S 3 to £8 10s others £5 to £6, unsonn/'and backward £2 15s to £4. j Pigs.-—Unfinished oaconers £3 ss, good store pigs 38s to £2 2s, smallei 28s. to 355, slips 255, sows, to farrow £6 10s to £7 15s, later farrowing £4 10s.
