ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS
At the meeting of the Lodge held in St. Andrew’s Hall on Tuesday last, Bro. Dixon, C.R., welcomed a large gathering among which was a large party from Court Te Toa, A!u,F., Whakatane. After general business those asembled sat down to the well-filled tables, when a lengthy toast list was honoured. Brtb T. E. Palmer was the toastmaster. Bro. toasts proposed were“ The King," “The District A.0.F.,” “Visitors,” “The Returned Soldiers,” “Kindred Societies" “Donors of Sucking Pig and Poultry ” (Bro. Lally and Mutton), . “AbsentBrethren,” “Hosts,” “Musicians,” “Stewards,” and “Toastmaster.”
