NOTED VIENNESE PIANIST VIS.TING TAURANGA On Monday evening . next, the noted Viennese pianist, Paul Schramm, will give a recital in the Civic Theatre, Tauranga. This artist, who has just completed his Auckland season, has impressed his audiences with his undoubted virtuosity in varjed and exacting programmes, which / included items seldom heard in the repertoire of artists, . ' His command of the key-board, whether in producing the massive organ-like chords of the Bach cjonipositions, or the liquid tones of Mozarts’ graceful music, the gifted pianist displays his great versatility. The first part of the concert will be devoted to Bethoven’s compositions while the second pare will comprise more modern music.
