KING’S BIRTHDAY
On Wednesday, the Pth inst., the Post Office will be closed in all branches with the exception of the Telephone Exchange which is open continuously. Mails for the undermentioned offices will close at 8 a.m. : Opotiki, Taneatua, Whakatane, Tauranga, Frankton Junction Railway and Auckland. All street receiving boxes will be cleared at 7.30 a.m. On Tuesday, Bth inst. a delivery of correspondence will be, made over the counter between the hours of 7 and 8 p.m. , '
