An interesting match was played on the Papamoa links on Sunday, when the Te Puke and Mokoroa Golf Clubs tried conclusions, the former winning by 14 games to 3. The following were the results Singles Brebner lost to Crowley, 1 up. Stewart lost to Webster, 4 and 2 SLoaue lost to Hookey, 6 and 5 Dowell lost to Douglas, 2 up King lost to Veitch, 3 and 2 Appleby lost to George, 3 and 1 Armstrong lost to Tubb, 2 and 1 Morrison lost to Hargreaves, 2 and 1 Sharkey lost to Randell, 6 and 4 lost to Fulton, 3 and 2 Hammell beat Mollgaard, 4 and 3 Fogarty and Cooper, all square Foursomes Brebner and Stewart lost to Web* ster and Crowley, 2 up Sloane and Dowell lost to Veitch and Hookey, 3 and 2 King and Appleby lost to Douglas and George, 5 and 3 Armstrong and Morrison lost to Tubb and Hargreaves, 2 up Sharkey pnd Newman beat Randell and Fulton. 2 and 1 Hammell and Fogarty beat Moll gaard and Cooper, 6 and 5.
