A Link With Scotland.

.Te Puke and New Byth.

The following is an extract froin “ The People’s Journal,” published in Aberdeen : “What magic link, one wonders, connects New Zealand with the wee village of New Bytf ? The W. 1., of Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, have sept to their sisters in New Byth four pounds of New Zealand butter from the Dairy Produoe Board, and have decided to make the New Byth branch their link with Great Britain. This friendly message from a one-year-old branch in New Zealand was evidently welcomed with characteristic New Byth friendliness, and the butter which has come from the other side of the globe is to be kept till August 10th. when it will be sold at the forthcoming cake and candy sale.'
