YACHTING.

Bayswater yachting and launching enthusiasts have formed a club to be known as the Takapuna Launching ami Yachting Club. Mr. C. F. Fieldsend has been elected secretary and Mr. Fortzer, treasurer. It is proposed to call a general meeting shortly. The 100-mile Ocean Race promoted by the New Zealand Yacht Squadron, and the North Shore Yacht Club was won by the Moana, Victory being second and lorangi third. * No fewer than 21 boats participated. The Manukau Yacht and Motor Boat Club will entertain a large number of members of Auckland Clubs on Saturday and Sunday next. The boats will leave Onehunga Wharf about 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. A very successful gathering is anticipated.
