To forbid the manufacture, storage, or deposit of ice cream or ices or the ingredients therefor in any open shed or unenclosed space. To forbid the manufacture, storage, or deposit of ice cream or ices for sale or the ingredients therefor to be manufactured, stored, or deposited in any room or building unless—• (1) Such is provided with tight, close-jointed walls and ceilings. (2) To fail to protect as far as possible from the access -of rats any article likely to be food for them. (3) To neglect to destroy rats. (4) To fail to remove or obliterate nests, burrows, and habitual haunts of rats. To require the occupier of premises used, as a marine store or for the sale or storage of any second-hand timber, iron, barrels, empty cases, etc., upon receipt of notice, to cause all such to be kept on open platforms or trestles at least 12in clear of the ground or floor, and to keep the space between such ground or floor and the platform or trestles free from obstructions. To require the occupier or owner of any building or premises to put all such buildings and premises and all cellars, sheds, outbuildings, and sanitary conveniences belonging thereto in a cleanly condition. A copy of the proposed By-laws is deposited in the Town Clerk's Office, Town Hall, Queen-street, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours, until the 22nd day of February, 1912.
