Whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, undei "The Public Works Act, 1908/' for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of an electric powei atetion in the City of Auckland: And whereas the Council of the City of Auckland has laid before the Oorernor c memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the saic Act : Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1908," and " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and' of every other power am authority in any wise enabling me in that behalf; do hereby proclaim and declare that, from ami after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an electric power station in the City 01 Auckland, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the- City of Auckland .
