CHRISTMAS CARDS.

The idea of getting Christmas cards printed according to one's own notions has grown in popularity year by year. For the coming season the proprieixjrs of the Observer have made extensive arrangements to supply the- public demand. Their 3tock of Christmas card blanks is easily the largest and most varied in Auckland. The designs for this rear are especially choice, and calculated to suit all tastes. All that is necessary is to call at the printing house, select your design, supply an appropriate motto and seasonable message, anoTthe rest will be speedily done in the establishment. The Observer jobbing department has won an excellent name for the good taste with which orders for this class of work are executed, and satisfaction can be guaranteed to all its patrons. • • •

The reason for the demand for original cards is easily understood. There is a sentimental satisfaction about sending, and a corresponding satisfaction in receiving, a personal message from a friend, breathing his or her good wishes, and it is sentiment, and a sentiment worthy of being fostered, that is behind all interchanges of Christmas greetings. At any rate, the Observer office recognises the requirements of the public, and is prepared to supply them.
