" Boz's " anticipations for the second day of the Takapuna Winter Meeting are as follows : — Pupuke Handicap — Roselawn or Cymri ; Han« turu Hurdles — Bonomiana or Kliama ; Second Pony Race — Imprimus or Forth; Britannia Handicap — Lucrece, Lord Seaton, Millie ; Takapuna Steeplechase — Inniskillen ; Victoria Handicap — Certainty or Soult Maid ; Welter Handicap — Henry Havelock or Freemount.

The railway authorities notify that special excursion tickets will b* issued from Tuesday, May 21st, to Friday, May 24th, inclusive. Country residents desirous of visiting the "Winter Show can therefore do so at a minimum cost. The cheap fares should also be a special inducement to town residents to visit" the Military Tournament at Kirikiriroa on May 24th. For further particulars see advertisement.
