Public notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Grey Lynn Borough Council, to be held in the Council Chamber, Rose Road, Grey Lynn, on SATURDAY, 22nd day of April, 1905, a Resolution will be submitted for the confirmation of the following Special Order made at a Special Meeting of the said Council on the 23rd day of March, 1905, viz. :— " That the Grey Lynn Borough Council doth hereby by special resolution intended to operate as a Special Order make the following By - laws to be • known as ' The Grey Lynn Borough Council By-laws No. 3.' " (Here follows the By-laws.) 1 he object or purport of the said Bylaws is as follows : — In respect of Rules and Regulations of The Grey Lynn Volunteer Fire Brigade for the better government of said Brigade, and provides for a stated sum as a contribution from the Grey Lynn Borough Council to be paid yearly; the providing the Brigade with working uniform, etc. ; the payment of a stated amount to members of the Brigade for services rendered at a fire ; payment of a stated sum yearly to members of Brigade as boot money; the use of the funds of the Brigade ; the appointment of auxiliaries ; honorary members and conditions of appointment ; the dates and ; conduct ot general and ot her meetings ; appointment of officers and defines their dutie.i ; f»rovides for an Investigation Committee ; cave of absence, practices, and inspection ; 1 provides to empower the Brigade to adopt Bylaws, to submit such By-laws to the Council ' for approval. \ r A copy of the Proposed By-laws is deposited 3 at the Office of tne Council in Rose Road, Grey Lynn, and is open to the inspection of the public during office hours uniil the said ' 22nd day of April, 1905. 3 R.
