COROMANDEL
. T?he Wanderers' ' bob ' concert paßsed off very well considering. Some of the items rendered were very good, but the ■ O M bas one fault to find— the fittiDg aocommoda-. tion was very bad'; his legs. have tot quite recovered from the cramps yet.. .lt was too bad of P D to escort a young lady to the concert ard then neglect' her... J K was there and seemed to enjoy it very much, or was it the .presence of a certain young lady which caused him such enjoyment ?... What caused that little smile on F H's face while singing that duet? It was very noticeable.. The stage manager seemed rather nervous while giving out the items and did not manage 'to make himself heard very well...Mr B (the giddy old spark) was in his element handing the young ladies off the stage. Why not have left it to one of the young- men, 3?.. E T. seemed to enjoy the dance, especially the one with H-C. Surely she can't have forgotten 'A Q so soon. . What made J A look so sad ? Was it because F Q- was not there?... The O M was sorry to notice that the lemonade proved too strong for some of the footballers present. Perhaps that ■ accounted for their defeat on the following day...M F has taken up the running very strongly with M C... What price surprise parties in Coro. just now ? And who got the biggest surprise at the last one, the stir- - prisers or the Eurprised? Ask H C.What takes the little shopman down the street so often ? There must be some attraction-per-haps the widow... Cß is becoming a terrible flirt, and is making sad havoc amongst the hearts of quite a number of young ladies. He is not greedy, but he evidently likes a 10t...P E is very attentive to B D lately...MDhasgot a masher at last. You had better get him to shift his camp, M, as it is rather far for him to walk so often from Tokatea...Why is B M so quiet lately ? Are the worries and responsibilities, of business so great with him that he has no time for the young ladies ? ...Rumour saith that J W is contemplating matrimony. He certainly is very attentive to and looks very much in love with Miss B.
