HARAPIP
A very pleasant dance eventuated on Friday night last in the Harapipi schoolroom. It was comfortably filled, about twenty couples takiDg the floor. Messrs Bruce, Bolton, Hodgson, and Partington kindly supplied the music, -which, needless to say, gave every satisfaction. Mr M Sutherland acted as MC. and fulfilled his duties very creditably... Why does MS make hismelodiouavofce heard all the way down to Kaniwhawhania ? Is the glowing fire the cause of it or the sweet remembrance of li S ?...V* hy did W S leave the dance so early ? Was it because C B was not there ?..TC looked the picture of happiness when in A S's company.. Wasn't H L piling on the jam "with MB? liook sharf>, or H H will be cutting you out.. Rumour has it that P H and T B are engaged. Get the cans ready, boys. ."A L sayß he will never use a razor. I suppose you will use scissors instead, A...H C says he can't get a best girl. Fa"int heart, etc. .S C looks very down-hearted lately. Are you pining over M S ?...B C thinks F H is the most charming young man she knows.. Wasn't B ti devoted to a certain young man' at the dance ?
