PUNI.
An interesting wedding took place at Puni on Tuesday, October 19th, the happy couple being Miss Edith Gregory, second daughter of Mr and Mrs John Gregory, Puni, and Mr German Evans, second son of Mr and Mrs J. Evans, Auckland. The ceremony took place at the residence of the bride's parents, and was attended by a number of the bride's old school-fellows and friends. The Bey. B. C. Budd, of Wainku, officiate 3. The bride was given away by her father, and looked very nice in a creme serge dress, completed with a wreath of orange blossoms, tulle veil, and a pretty bouquet of flowers. Miss Florence Gregory, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and looked Dice in a dress of pink crepon. After the service, an enjoyable wedding breakfast was partaken of. The yoimg couple were warmly congratulated, and showered with good wishes for their future happiness ; after which they took their departure for their future home in Epsom. The bride was the recipient of many nice presents.
