A certain ' gentleman ' here instead of making use of the ordinary phrases ' go to Howick ' or pro to a place where you could not comfortably exist this warm weather, always ejaculates 'go to Maketu.' Why ? 8.D., of Otahuhu looked happy promenading down the road the other Sunday with A.S. But the bicycle seemed a source of trouble to him. Couldn't comfortably push it along and pay enough attention to A. at the same time, eh, B. P....Ask T.W. if there are any lame rabbits on the scoria now P.. .The members of a certain society here are squabbling about who is to pay the expenses of a recent law-suit which they started themselves....! hear that W. (). is a great authority on bikes. Ask him the reason why he studies them so much ?
