The ladies are of opinion that if they want to be made belle of the next ba l ! they will have to keep great with the O.M. Twice they say he has made ladies belle who had no other claim than because he was sweet on them. It is well he has some attraction, you know we can't all be good-looking... Is it true W C.'s girl has got the ring and that she bought it herself for 3s 6d ?
