You had better be careful, J. 6., when out with L. E. Others are watching, and there's mischief brewinsr.... Why did G.Dsay he did not go to twopenny kicks. Was he afraid of not getting enough to eat or was the ticket too much money?... A. M. is small, but some people have eyes like eagles, and watch you around corners. Be careful, littleone....F.C. looks quite unhappy now. Is it because he has fallen out with his girl at ?... Why do C.E.V. and E.fO. take so long to make up their minds to marry ? It is not fair, boys, plenty of pretty girls, and' time is fleeting.
...What were oar young men thinking about to allow our most obliging married man, JT.D.F., to escort three young ladies hom9 from church practice ? Such darlings. Boys, you are too slow almost to eat.... Has J. J. G. insured his life yet? as he has now tafeen to ride again after his last experience on horseback. We hope so for fear of accidents.... We hear that over SO invitations have been issued for the monthly social. The O.M. has received a special one. So look out. He is like Mrs W.s parrot, always watchful and won't say all he thinks— but the best part of it.
...Mrs J. gave a hen party other evening. There was a splendid attendance and what a cackling they all made coming away !
