KAWAKAWA.
How loving J.N. and B.H. looked while spooning at the gate the night of her return from the Waikato....E.T. was greatly disappointed that E.K., the nice young man from Bussell, did not pay his usual visit last week, and sayß it was too bad his not coming, he says such nice things.... Skating is now the order of the day, and two out of our three halls are engaged for that purpose, fetewart's hall catering for the select few, while James's hall is open to receive all and sundry from our Mary Jane to a full-blown miner.... It was too bad of B.K. to pile it on so at the last dance. He had evidently forgotten the broken-hearted damsels he had left behind at pretty little Eussell.. ..What made E.M. and E.T. leave chapel in the middle of the service on Sunday last ? Folks were saying they might have waited for their respective beaus until service was over.... How nice E.T. looked with C.MoM. on Sunday last, and what has she dope with D.Me. ? Cheer up, old boy, don't give way to sorrow, aa good fish in the sea, Ac.
