MAUNGATUROTO.

The anniversary ball «f the Foresters took place in the Foresters' Hall, on the 21st of Nov., and was a great success. At twelve o'clock all sat down to a splendid supper, proTided by Mr Davis. It would be impossible to tell who was the belle of the ball, for all the ladies locked very nice. What a pity Ernie couid not afford to buy a ti'ket. Too bid to be standing out-side looking through, the window at one o'cosk in the morning. I hope that bottle he took from the hal did him good. Too bad to say it was empty when he found it.
