Why does A.H. perpgrinate towards Beathy's corner morning and evening? Is it to meet (casually) F.H., the erst adorer at the shrine or our nightingale M.5.?.. .1t was very bad taste, to say the least, of T.H. to criticise the vocalists at his birthday party. ..On dit that T.C. is to warble attheß.C. concerts the well-known ditty ' Poor Wandering One ...There has been a general defection of the ' boys ' from a certain pub, owing to M.'s sudden departure. Why this thusness ? ...When is the long-talked-of ' kick ' coming off in the C. Hall ? The local dudes and dudines are waxing impatient... N.K. has gone back to the scene of her former conquests. The O.M. awaits developments ..M.H. says she can't stand the local dudes, so she goes to the city for recreation ...G.B. seems to have a great liking for the name of M., judging from his attempted conquests... ' Who wouldn't be a soldier ? is the burden of P. G-.'s latest recitations. ..Wanted a masher; must be an ardent adorer. Apply at once to M.K., Trafalgar-street.. .E.H. says that F.H. is jealous of his singing powers, and that is the reason why F. compares him to T.C. ..Miss R.H. says it is better to be an old man's darling than a young man's slave.
