THE BACHELORS' BALL.

The invitation ball given by the bachelors of Auckland last night was one of the most successful affairs of the kind ever held in Auckland. Upwards of 500 invitations were issued, and the acceptances amounted nearly to that number. The floral decorations were carried out under the superintendence of Mr Mason, and the appearance of the hall was briliiant and striking. The stewards exerted themselves to the utmost to make the affair as enjoyable and pleasant as possible. The following is a list of the ladies and gentlemen who accepted invitations.
