Whether this man has committed bigamy, or deceived a poor Avoman here, as he did at home is not knoAvn. When taxed by some one .vho knoAvs the circumstances, and holds his English wife's photo as evidence, he said he had " made himself safe," indeed, Aye scarcely think the beggar has pluck enough to run any risk. He had, however, better take care. The story is known to more than one, and unless he keeps a civil tongue in his head his identity may leak out
