An Australian capitalist recently visited New Zealand for the purpose of purchasing a large station. After travelling through the South Island- he came North and did the Waikato, the appearance of which pleased him immensely. In course of conversation hetoldpeopl* as nrufch, and was immediately inundated with letters from squatters, all of whom expressed themselves desirous to sell their farms. This strange conduct had such an effect on the woiild-be buyer that he fled precipitately without spending even a hundred pounds there. . .
