SCARCITY OF BRISTLES.

NEW PLASTIC DESIGN. IMPROVEMENT ON “PORKER.”

With the price ot quality brushes sky-rocketing, clue to scarcity of bristles ordinarily obtained from China, du Pont engineers announce successful completion of experiments leading to the production of “Exton,” a new plastic bristle which improves on the usual product of “porkers.” Exton never saw a hog’s back. Made in a batch like bread dough, it is extruded through holes of the required size and virtually any desired length. It is not softened by water or saliva.
