INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. N.Z. OFFICIAL RETURNS. [By Telegraph. —Press Association |. AUCKLAND, Sept. 30. Having attended the first international conference on correspondence education, held at Victoria, British Columbia, Dr. A. G. Butchers returned by the Mariposa to-day. He is headmaster of the Correspondence School of the New Zealand Education Department. Dr. Butchers said he did not feel at liberty to discuss the trip in detail, as he was presenting a report to the Department. He visited the Departments of Education in various States of America and provinces of Canada.
