LADIES’ HOCKEY ASSN.
ANNUAL MEETING HELD. JUNIOR CLUB FORMED. OFFICERS ELECTED, The auuuai meeting of the Thames Ladies’ liockcy Association was held last week in Mr. E. 0. Brownlee’s office, when Mr. A. Currie occupied the chair. Those present were: Messrs. J. Kennedy and A. Currie, Mrs. W. Lang, and Misses Smith, Adams, 11. McMillan and F. Williams.
Officers Elected.
The following officers were elected
Patron, Mr, S, Ensor; president, Mrs J. Thorn; vice-presidents, Messrs. G. Mineher, J. 11. Battson, T. Voykovich, W. dc Clive Lowe, F. E. McCullough, G. Martin, J. Crawford, W. Danbv, S. Muir, J. Ilarvey, P. Reddy, A. Bateman, J. Galloway and E. Pearson; secretary, Mrs, Lang. Miss Keesing was appointed delegate to the Auckland Association, It was decided to send a team to play the Wesley (Auckland) ladies’ team. A junior club was Formed and there are a number of vacancies for new members. Congratulations. Miss Margaret .Smith was congratulated on her selection for the Auckland Provincial team last season. Mrs. Lang was also congratulated on securing her referee’s certificate last season. Opening of Season. A senior and junior team will be entered for a 7-a-sido tournament on April 23 on the occasion of the opening of tho season.
