NGATEA SCHOOL. EVENING CLASSES. Over 30 intending entrants for the evening classes to be established at the Ngatoa School have made preliminary enrolments. It seems certain that classes in" dressmaking, woodwork and bookkeeping will commence almost immediately. NATIONAL PARTY. LADIES' COMMITTEE. At a meeting held in Ngatea on Monday last of the ladies interested in the. National Party, the following were elected a committee: —President (temporarily), Mrs. Wallace Jones, Mesdames Jones, Davies, Schultz, Barriball, Constantino, Kcycs, Cole, Smallfield, Wallis and Miss Pane; secretary, Miss M. Nelson.
Arrangements were made to hold a garden party at the residence of Mrs. Wallace Jones shortly.
