WORK WITHOUT REWARD.
FINE RECORD ESTABLISHED.

"No reward is asked nor would it be accepted, save only this: the satisfaction of having helped in a time of need." In its annual report the Association congratulated the Brigade members for the smart and efficient manner in which they had carried out their duties. Five Years Without a Break. Special reference was made during the evening to the record of Sergeant E. V. Martin, who had completed five years' service without missing one oi. the 212 parades held during that time.
