WOMAN’S LIFE SAVED.

HAMILTON LAKE INCIDENT,

[By Telegraph.*—Press Association] HAMILTON, Dec. 13.

' The prompt action of a boy of 13 years, Mitchell Eogerson, son of Mr. J. C. Rogerson, of Forest Lake Road, Frankton. avus responsible for saving the life of a woman at Hamilton Lake on Saturday.

The woman was bathing oft' the pier and got into difficulties in deep water. Rogerson saw her predicament and dived in. 4 He managed to assist the woman to gain shallow water and he and a companion pulled her out. She wag suffering from shock but soon recovered.

About three years ago Rogerson saved the life of a boy who had fallen into a trough on the river bank at Hamilton.
