When the De Luxe Tlieatre at Lowe Uutt was broken into on Thursday night, a thief cut liis hand whilo working on the safe, and the polico followed the trail of blood down into Petone, leading,to a doctor's residence, They found the doctor had treated a man for a badly-cut hand, and with tno search so narrowed down to a man with a bandaged hand, they eventually made an arrest.
Peter McXicol, alias Thomas James, aged 25, a labourer, was r-hargefl tolav at Lower Hutt and :emanded.
