A rabbiter, Walter Smith,.aged 24 years, married, was taken to a private hospital on Saturday in a critical condition as a result of a gunshot wound in the forehead. At the time of the discharge of the rifle he was in the cab of a motor-truck and had been in conversation with his wile, who was standing beside the vehicle.
