RUSSIAN SHEEP BUYERS.
LIKELY TO RETURN. QUESTION OF CLIMATE. FUTURE INTENTIONS. [By Telegraph.—Press Association] PALMERSTON N., June 19. The opinion that the Russian sheepbuying delegation which visited the Dominion recently, and departed without making any purchases, would return before long was expressed by Mr. G. E. Allen, at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Romney Marsh -Sheep Breeders' Association. No purchases had been made on the initial visit on account of climatic conditions, he said, but he was informed that it was quite clear that they intended to •return during the coming season and compete by paying market prices for any sheep purchased. Mr. Allen added that exports of liomneys were on the increase, and the society should foster exports to other countries.
