DOMINION'S STRONG POSITION. BIG INCREASED FIGURE. [By Telegraph.—Press Association] LEVIN, June 18. The more favourable position of New Zealand butter on the London market compared with Danish since the operation of the Labour Government's market system was mentioned by Mr. Barclay, member for Marsden, speaking here last night. New Zealand butter under the guaranteed price has been on tlio market since November last year. Compared with the 1935-36 season, NovemberJune, the market value thus far is 6/7 per cwt. higher. Danish butter during the same period decreased 1/8 per cwt., and the difference is now decreased by 8/3. The increase to the New Zealand dairy industry is £1,750,000.
