CHEESE FACTORY.
NGATEA PROPOSAL. SUPPLIERS ADDEESSED. CANVASS TO BE MADE. There is a move afoot in the Ngatea district which has as its object the erection of a cheese factory at Ngatea. On Tuesday evening about 30 producers were addressed in the Ngatea Hall by Mr. A. 11. McClean, chairman of the suppliers' committee of the New Zealand Dairy Company's cheese factory at Waitakaruru, on the proposal. A committee consisting of Messrs. C. W. Schultz, R, Burke, P. Speedy, V. Barriball and W. McDuff, was appointed to go into the matter and canvass the district. It is anticipated good support will be given the proposal.
