CRUSHED BY TRUCK.
MR. L. ALEXANDER. A serious accident befel Mr. L. Alexander, superintendent of the Thames Volunteer Fire Brigade, and employed at Messrs. A. and G. Price's foundry, when a railway truck was being towed by a motor-lorry at the Thames North station this morning.
Mr. Alexander was between the lorry and the truck, and the latter crushed him against the back of the lorry. Ho was immediately taken to the Thames Public Hospital.
