OF THE UNEMPLOYED,
HIGH TOTAL PLACEMENTS. ! (By Telegraph.—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Sept. 30. The number of men placed in private employment during the week ended on Saturday last was 769, a record for any month since the inception of the Labour Department's placement scheme. The total placements to date is 8,105.
