THE KING'S. At the King's Theatre to-night '•The Magnificent Obsession" will attract large crowds. The stars are Irene Dunne and Robert Taylor. Of this picture, press reports say: "Once in a decade a motion picture such as this comes to enrich the screen with a new glory, to set a new standard in film entertainment, and to servo as an inspiration to all humanity." A good supporting programme is provided. THE REGENT. The programme for the Regent Theatre to-night includes "Guard That Girl," featuring Florence Rice and Robert Allen, and the sensational picture, ."Boulder .Dam," a real story of dangerous dare-devil work, featuring Ross Alexander and Patricia Ellis. Thrill follows thrill, and the interest and excitement are sustained to the end. Good supporting features are included.
